Oscoda Charter Boat Fishing

You can go on a charter fishing trip to, Oscoda and Lake Huron, Augres and also Saginaw Bay. Theses charters allow you to catch salmon, trout, and walleye. Each location has an outstanding view that is totally breathtaking and if you decided to go with a group of friends you would not be disappointed.

There are boats that are 31ft long and accompanied with all the state-or-the-art equipment including computerized cannon down riggers, the finest controlled – depth trolling system that you can charter.

The idea of Oscoda charter boat fishing is rapidly becoming an ideal pass time. All you need to take with you is a cooler for your catch, as a lot of them supply equipment for the charter. As there is an assortment of fish for you to catch you will have a nice treat for the folks back home. An Oscoda charter boat fishing trip could be used for a gift idea or a family day out. All boats are in compliance with the United States coast guard safety standards. You can get captains that have over 30 years experience with sport fishing and 25 years as a coast guard captain to charter you around, so you know you will be totally safe on your trip.

The dates that charters start are in June when you will be able to get salmon, Brown trout, lake trout, and steelhead out of Oscoda. The final time of the year for the Oscoda charter boat fishing season is in August and September. This is when you tend to head back to Oscoda for the chase of the huge schools of Chinook salmon as they begin staging offshore for their fall spawning runs that leads you up to the majestic AuSable River.
